Position Summary: Glaziers work in the field on-site erecting unitized and stick system curtain walls, panels, storefronts, and strip windows by anchoring frames plumb, level, and square to building structure.

This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position reporting to a field superintendent. Typical Monday-Friday schedule (overtime and occasional weekends based on project schedules).

• Prepares sill pans and frames for glass
• Applies caulking and other adhesives
• Installs anchors and panels
• Sets frames, glass, and units
• Installs break metal and flashing
• Installs mirrors as appropriate
• Other tasks or duties as assigned by the Site Superintendent or Project Manager

Basic Requirements:

• Reliable Transportation and Valid Driver’s License
• Authorized to Work in the U.S.
• Ability to walk, bend, twist, climb, turn head/torso, crawl, reach, flex arms and legs, and lift/carry up to 75 pounds as needed
• Ability to read tape measure accurately and perform basic construction math
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and ability to work at heights/elevated surfaces
• Employee supplies own hand tools and basic battery-operated Drill and Driver set
• Ability to understand and communicate in English sufficiently to follow safety instructions and perform job duties

Experiences and Qualities:

• Prior glazing experience is preferred but not required. Candidates who have strong carpentry skills and/or construction backgrounds may also be considered.
