What you'll do:

  • Safety preplanning and oversite for all Bruner employees and subcontractors for one job site.
  • Conduct ongoing safety inspections to ensure that work is performed in accordance with OSHA's and ANSI standards, site specific safety plan, company's Safety Excellence.
  • Review Safety Task Analysis, create Job Hazard Analysis, participate in daily safety huddles; coordinate administrative reporting required by the General Contractor.
  • Escalate corrective disciplinary action to Sr. Safety Specialist and Project Superintendent.
  • Investigate any near miss or accidents.
  • Maintain and update MSDS

  1. Construction OSHA 30-Hour and First Aid/CRP/AED Certification required.
  2. Exposure in the construction industry with dedicated safety responsibilities.

CAD Departmemt Manager

The ideal candidate for this position has an excellent work ethic with well-developed organizational and time management skills. A growth-oriented individual who is motivated and energetic with a positive attitude is a must.

The CAD Department manager is responsible for overseeing the drafters and managing the work flow along with helping to establish and maintain the department standards. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees. Also includes planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, coaching and counseling employees, enforcing discipline as needed, addressing complaints and resolving problems. This strong team player will also possess excellent supervisory skills with previous staff supervision experience.

The CAD Department Manager is also responsible for preparing 2-D (primarily) AutoCAD drawings of equipment layouts, mechanical layouts, schedules, elevations and millwork for our customers. Daily interaction with the Sales team to determine specific needs for each project require the drafter to have the ability to work in a deadline driven fast-paced environment. Ideally, this candidate has a food-service design background and experience in Revit is preferred.

The position requires a person who possesses excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as problem resolution skills. The successful applicant will be extremely flexible, detail-oriented and able to multi-task daily with great follow through. They must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

High school diploma/GED required Associates degree in drafting or CAD operation and a minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in CAD drafting and management required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

We are seeking an experienced marketing professional with the skills to own the creation and maintenance of Pepper marketing content and to manage our internal and external communications.
