Driver/Yard Person

JONES LUMBER & MILLWORK CO

8/17/20 or before

Drive company vehicle to deliver lumber and building materials to customer's homes, place of business and construction sites. Unloading trucks by hand or dump-bed. Assist in the yard with customers and maintaining a well kept yard. Take lumber deliveries.

One (1) week paid vacation + three (3) sick days, company pays 75% of health insurance, 401K.

  • Valid Drivers License.
  • Fork lift driving experience.
  • Knowledge of lumber materials, building materials and cabinet shop.
  • Looking for someone who is self motivated, willing to help where needed.

$17-$18 as a starting point

Project Manager, Interior Construction

Continental Office is seeking a Project Manager to join our Interior Construction team in Columbus, OH!

Continental Office is the Distribution Partner for DIRTT Environmental Solutions in Central Ohio. Our Interior Construction team specializes in the Design, Project Management & Installation of DIRTT solutions.

A Project Manager on our Interior Construction team is the eyes, ears, and voice on multiple construction projects, from initial education to the final walk-through. They provide an innovative and unique experience for every client, and confidently suggest what the client doesn't see or know is a solution available to them.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact onsite for general and subcontractors, understanding the scope of work and all details of a project
  • Ensure DIRTT solutions are installed to specification and quality standards
  • Utilize ICE software to manage the design data and keep the project on track
  • Review all production information and drawings for accuracy
  • Ensure site measurements are accurate and create installation quotes
  • Organize and submit orders in conjunction with the Designer
  • Manage submittals to the factory and schedule punch list items
  • Understand all local code requirements including construction, mill-work, power and networks

Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or Technical Diploma in Construction, Engineering or Architecture
  • Three to five years of construction, architectural or related experience
  • Knowledge of DIRTT solutions or an understanding of the installation process is highly desired
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or other 3D software with the enthusiasm for learning new software is preferred
  • Successful candidates will be team players, have strong organization and communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

Designer, Interior Construction

Continental Office is seeking a Designer to join our Interior Construction team in Columbus, OH!

Continental Office is the Distribution Partner for DIRTT Environmental Solutions in Central Ohio. Our Interior Construction team specializes in the Design, Project Management & Installation of DIRTT solutions. A Designer on our Interior Construction team is someone who has the technical aptitude of an engineer and the creativity of an architect with the ability to problem-solve and a desire to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to understand their needs and ideas and guide them to a DIRTT specific solution
  • Design client projects using ICE® software, populating the DIRTT space from scratch or from a predesigned AutoCAD plan
  • Review all production information and drawings for accuracy
  • Create shop drawings for client projects using ICE®
  • Organize and submit orders in conjunction with the Project Manager
  • Understand the scope of work onsite and know all the details of a project

Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or Technical Diploma in Architecture or Design
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or other 3D software with the enthusiasm for learning new software
  • Knowledge of DIRTT solutions or an understanding of the installation process is highly desired
  • An understanding of interior construction including architectural elements, lighting, electrical, HVAC and basic base-building knowledge
  • Successful candidates encompass an entrepreneurial spirit, have strong organization and communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
